I started as a PHP developer, building CodeIgniter applications for small businesses in Kerala — learning full-stack fundamentals end to end, from database schema to deployment.
As the work grew, I moved into Laravel for new builds, took on larger production systems, and began leading legacy-to-Laravel migrations — owning the architecture decisions, the database design, and the API layer, not just the feature work. That's when clients in the UAE and wider GCC started bringing me in for platform-level engineering, particularly in real estate and e-commerce.
Alongside the engineering, I taught myself Technical SEO the same way I'd learned to code — by breaking things, reading logs, and fixing what was actually wrong. When AI search — ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews — started reshaping discovery, I treated it as another engineering problem: structuring data and content so systems can be found, not as a separate marketing discipline.
What drives the work today is the same thing that drove it at the start: I want the systems I build to run reliably in production — and, as a bonus, to actually get found by the people they're for.
